Celebrating Lessons Learned and Women in Business
Last month, I participated in the The Great Pitch Competition hosted by the Great Lakes Women’s Business Council. “Together We Triumph” was the theme for the conference, which was perfect inspiration for all the challenges we’ve had to face this year.
The experience of the competition was incredible, but the most remarkable thing for me was the amount of expertise, intelligence and creativity the 150 applicants brought. Women from all kinds of backgrounds, with all different pitches and brilliant business ideas coming together to share with each other and promote each other reminded me about what we are celebrating this month, women business owners and women in business. This is a worthy way of commemorating our achievements and what’s to come, and I was honored to be a finalist. To all those who participated and organized this great event, thank you!
In large office settings, Relocation Strategies are the experts in helping you and your business reimagine your workspace so you can get back to work, be productive and be engaged. Our proprietary Workplace Productivity Analysis®️ helps us analyze your needs so we can create a customized plan just for the specific needs of your organization. It provides organizations the clarity they need to take action (oh, and we help with relocation and reconfiguration, too). So be it at home or in the office, you need to call us so we can help you redefine your space and own your new normal.
Today’s world requires a lot of changes, flexibility, out-of-the-box thinking and multi-management capabilities, all of which women excel at. However, add to the mix the constant challenges of working from home, “zooming” while cooking, etc. and a thought occurred to me. While we’ve been working hard to reimagine the workplace (offices, etc.), the physical location of the workplace has changed! We are no longer needing to only think about our work offices, we need to reimagine our home offices. That’s where most of us are spending most of our time nowadays.
COVID-19 has had a greater impact than anyone could have imagined, and it’s not over yet. Businesses are suffering, organizations don’t know how to bring back their people safely, and they’re wondering what to do about their office space. In the meantime, we’ve repurposed our dining rooms, kitchens, basements, closets, laundry rooms—you name it. We can help you reimagine your office away from your office. While we work diligently to provide safe return to the office, let’s make the one you are using now the best it can be.
