Record numbers of students are turning to Harrison College to get the skills they need. Because of this growth, the Indianapolis-based college – with its online division and 13 campuses in Indiana and Ohio – needed more classroom space. Harrison decided to consolidate staff from three locations into a single building in the heart of downtown Indianapolis. It hired Relocation Strategies to help with move management, furniture and voice /data coordination.
We moved approximately 168 people in phases over two weekends and reused as much existing furniture as possible in the new location. We rented furniture for a week and coordinated wireless and new phone systems so that the college’s call center would remain up and running throughout the move. We also bid out the data cabling to obtain optimal rates and then coordinated installation with the college’s IT department.
